The latest episode of this 16 episode k-drama aired last night and it seems like there may be some resolution in store for the characters. However, with only a few days left in the season, it’s still unclear if this one has been renewed or cancelled. ..
What is Tomorrow Season 1 about?
The death angels are a group of people who have died and gone to the afterlife. They are a downhearted bunch, and Jun-Woong is one of them. The team stumble upon him on Friday night, and he seems to be in a bad place. They try to help him, but he seems to be in too deep for them.
Jun-Woong is quickly drawn into the team and finds himself working with two of the most powerful people in the city. He’s not sure what to expect, but he knows that he can trust these two men with his life.

Has Tomorrow been renewed for season 2?
MBC has not renewed Tomorrow for season 2. Given the respectable ratings over the weeks, it will be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up. ..
The ratings for “K-drama ‘Reply 1988’ have been decreasing steadily, with rates hovering at around 2.5% averagely in recent weeks. Given this is a weekend k drama up against stiff competition, that’s perhaps not surprising.”
Based on the fact that this show is set up to be more episodic than a singular story, it is possible that Tomorrow may be renewed. However, given most k-dramas wrap up their stories in a single season and the ratings are quite low, we predict that Tomorrow will not be renewed.

What we know about season 2 so far:
The Korean dramas that are aired on television usually only last for one season. The exception is the Netflix shows, which usually have multiple seasons. It seems unlikely that this one will be renewed.
Despite the potential for a follow-up or spin-off, it’s not impossible that the actors from Reply will return for a follow-up or even a spin-off. Given this show is set up in an episodic way, it’s not out of the realm of possibility. We’ll have to wait and see if this one is greenlit or not.
