What is My Liberation Notes Season 1 about?
Mi-Jeong is a young woman who lives in Seoul and feels unfulfilled in her life. She’s shy and an introvert, but also lonely. Mi-Jeong has a strong sense of self-identity and feels like she doesn’t fit into either of the two worlds she lives in.
Gi-Jeong Lee, the eldest sister, is very hot tempered and spends a lot of her time travelling back and forth between Seoul and Sanpo village because of her job. She has a lot of issues in her life that she is desperate to find love to solve. ..
Lee Min-Ki plays the role of Chang-Hee, the middle child who wants to leave his childhood home in Sanpo and has big dreams of becoming rich and living a fulfilled life. Chang-Hee is a very likable character, as he is always looking out for the best interests of his family and friends. He is also very determined, as he does not give up easily on his dreams. Chang-Hee’s biggest challenge will be balancing his desire for independence with his need to stay close to those he loves. ..
Yeom Mi-Jeong, a young woman living in Sangpo, is curious about the mysterious Mr. Gu who recently arrived in town. She decides to approach him and learn more about his past. ..

Has My Liberation Notes been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, JTBC has not renewed My Liberation Notes for season 2. Given the respectable ratings over the weeks, it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up.
The ratings for the latest episode of “The Walking Dead” were impressive, with the show reaching 4.9% in viewership during a busy weekend. This is especially impressive given how strong competition there was. ..
Based on the information given, we predict that My Liberation Notes will not be renewed.

What we know about season 2 so far:
The Korean dramas that are aired on television usually only last for one season. The exception is the Netflix shows, which usually have multiple seasons. It seems unlikely that this one will be renewed.
In light of the recent events, it’s possible that a follow-up or spin-off series will be created about Mr. Gu’s past. Given the nature of this series, we could even see a new show focused on Mr. Gu’s past or even jump forward in time to see how all of our characters are getting on in the future. We’ll have to wait and see if this one is greenlit or not.
