Renewed Or Cancelled?
Black Bird is a tense, nail-biting prison drama with some excellent characterisation and some fantastic acting. The story follows the experiences of a group of inmates who are incarcerated in a maximum security prison. The inmates are all different and have different stories to tell, but they all share one common goal: to get out of the prison.
What is Black Bird Season 1 about?
Jimmy is able to get close to the killer, and even shares a bed with him, before finally getting caught. The story is full of suspense and surprises, as Jimmy must figure out how to get out of prison before he’s executed.
Larry needs to find out where he may have hidden up to 18 bodies of dead women. But time is of the essence, as he looks close to being released from prison.
In the latest episode of Black Bird, a group of birds are terrorized by a hunter who captures them and forces them to do his bidding. To protect the birds, the community must come together to find and stop their attacker.
Has Black Bird been renewed for season 2?
Apple has not renewed Black Bird for season 2, which is likely due to the company’s past track record of renewing a lot of its shows. It will be interesting to see if they do renew this one.
Critics and audiences have been great for this season, but the ending is pretty conclusive. Not only that, but given this is a true story, there are few places it could go unless it ditches the “true story” part and doubles down on a more fictitious story.
Given the ending and the fact that this is a standalone miniseries, we predict that Black Bird will not be renewed for a second season. ..

Apple has not yet announced whether or not they will renew “The Crown” for a second season. Given the show’s strong ratings and Apple’s history of renewing popular shows, it is likely that the series will be renewed. ..
