Two Summers To Forget

It has been a long, drawn-out summer for our characters. Finally, all the drama and pent-up frustrations come to a head as we finally come to understand what happened in both timelines.

What is Luk’s role in all this?

In the last episode, we learned that Luk’s child, Jen, is actually Peter’s. Luk is sterile and unable to have kids, a secret that Lia has been keeping from him this whole time. ..

While Luk’s camera was used to film the incident, with Luk replacing the tape in the camera with another. Unknown to Peter, Stef and Didier though, who destroy the videotape and believe their ordeal is over.

Luk found out about the video and the ensuing chain reaction when he told Lia. Sofie then showed her the video, which then led to Romee asking for advice. Saskia ended up becoming involved in this whole fiasco, as they worked together.

Who is the blackmailer?

Romee blackmailing Peter and asking for 100 Bitcoin: In episode 6 of Two Summers, we finally get some answers to the events that started in episode 1. Peter is in the bathroom, and Romee sends the incriminating message, blackmailing Peter and asking for 100 Bitcoin. We learn that this is a common tactic used by these types of criminals to get money from their victims.

Luk continues to deal with the bombshell reveal in his relationship. Namely that he’s not Jen’s father and that accolade unfortunately belongs to Peter.

Lia and Didier met while Lia was a sex worker and Didier was one of her clients. Lia stopped taking his requests after a few times, but he was never aggressive with her. She didn’t like the way it made her feel, so she stopped. When they saw each other again after all these years, it caused no end of issues.

Is the blackmailer revealed?

Saskia and Lia have been having issues with each other for a while now. Saskia is worried about Lia’s relationship with Stef and how it could affect her own. Lia doesn’t want to stop the boys from talking about girls, but she doesn’t want to ruin Saskia’s relationship either.

Didier opens up about his past with Saskia at dinner that day, and everyone is shocked to see the video of her on the TV. Saskia is noticeably absent from the conversation, and Romee leads them all inside the house where the videotape is playing for all to see.

Peter scrambles to turn off the party’s sound system, as the group of people spilling out onto the balcony finally airs out their grievances. There, Peter stumbles over his words, claiming that Sofie “wanted this” and tries to justify his heinous actions. This obviously infuriates everyone, with Didier trying to pass the blame off to Mark, who’s obviously dead. ..

Is the truth about Jen revealed?

Jen’s situation continues to worsen, with Luk confronting Saskia about sleeping with Peter. This has a chain reaction of causing Romee to lose her temper too, eventually telling the group that she’s sent the video off to the three largest press agencies, including Belga. This is actually a lie, but the damage is done. ..

Romee and Peter break up while Lia and Luk’s relationship hangs in the balance. Meanwhile, Mowgli commits suicide down by the shore, which sends ripples across the whole group and sends another dark cloud over the island for the weekend.

With the case against the man in the open, we jump ahead to interviews with the investigator to find out more about what may or may not be happening.

How does Two Summers end?

The characters in the show all receive letters in the mail with their verdict. Each character reacts differently to this news. They have all been summoned to appear in court for the upcoming criminal trial. ..

Sofie’s letter to the investigator, Salima, makes it clear that she does not want to press charges. This is likely due to the fact that Sofie and Didier have a prior relationship. ..

Two Summers is a new series that follows the lives of two friends, Lizzy and Alex, over the course of two summers. The show is full of humor and heartbreak, and it’s a great way to spend a summer.
