The Rookie is continuing its journey through its drama with the release of episode 5. In this episode, we follow the story of rookie cop, John, as he deals with the aftermath of a shooting. We see his interactions with his fellow officers and also learn more about his personal life. What do you hope to see as the series marches through its drama? One of my favorite moments in this episode was when John was questioning why he was being called to the scene of a shooting. He wasn’t sure if it was an emergency or not, but he knew that if it were an emergency, then he would be given more information. I also loved how John’s interactions with his fellow officers showed that he is willing to work together for the betterment of everyone in this department.
