Bullying is a problem that exists in many parts of the world, but it is particularly prevalent in South Korea. Recent statistics show that more than one in ten workers experience bullying on a daily basis. This problem is especially sensitive in South Korea because of the prevalence of K-dramas, which have often shown these scenes playing out in schools and workplaces. ..

The person you’re talking to is going through a tough time, and it feels like they can’t escape the darkness that surrounds them. They may be feeling isolated and alone, but you can help them by telling your story and sharing your feelings. You can also offer support in whatever way you can, whether that’s by lending an ear or offering words of encouragement.

Korean anime “Lookism” tackles bullying head-on by following the story of Hyeong-Seok, a poor overweight kid who is constantly picked on by his classmates. He transfers schools in hopes of escaping the abuse, but quickly realizes that he is now the target of a cruel online campaign. Hyeong-Seok must fight to keep his life and reputation intact as he navigates an ever-growing storm of hate. ..

This dual life is a fascinating experiment, one that has the potential to change the way we view sleep and its importance in our lives. By exploring how different versions of ourselves fall asleep, we may be able to better understand our own personalities and motivations.

The story follows a young girl named Aya as she struggles to find her place in the world and come to terms with the expectations placed on her. Along the way, she meets a variety of people and learns about their lives and what it means to be beautiful.

The show is set in a world where the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. The tone isn’t all somber though and there are occasions that are genuinely laugh out loud funny. The inclusion of tough guy Basco, who looks out for the downtrodden, brings up some particularly funny instances. There’s also some wild, over the top fighting here that helps inject the show with some action. ..

The cast of characters is great and you’ll find yourself rooting for Hyeong-Seok, Basco, Deok-hwa, and Jin-ho. ..

The animation is largely hand-drawn but there are some CGI instances here too. During one on one fights and in particular through the finale, there’s a fair amount used but it doesn’t detract too much from the experience.
