Netflix’s new series, Firefly Lane, follows the lives of two women who have been friends since the early 1970s. Tully, a free-spirited woman marked by the trauma of being raised by a drug-addict mother and a father she never knew, and Kate, a little miss goody two shoes who comes from a slightly dysfunctional family and is a bit shy and reserved, are both on their own paths in life. However, they are both determined to make their mark in the world. Tully is determined to find her place in the world and make her own decisions while Kate is committed to making her friends and helping others.

Two people who are complete opposites become friends and manage to keep their relationship for more than three decades. ..

In the first episode of season 2, we follow the girls as they continue to deal with the aftermath of Johnny’s injury. We learn more about what happened and why it led to such a rift between them. We also get a new perspective on the accident, which provides more insight into their relationship.

The novel has a mix of new and old romance, as well as some deep secrets that are revealed. The characters are hoping for a resolution that will make them feel better, but the novel ends with some difficult revelations.

The show’s non-linear narrative is a bit exhausting and confusing at times. The story weaves through three decades 1970, 1990 and 2000, with viewers left guessing which timeline they are in.

The time jumps are often jarring and unnecessary, making the pacing of the show feel off. In some cases, they distribute different key parts throughout the nine episodes, which creates a little mystery but viewers can decide for themselves if they like this structure or not. ..

The show still maintains the same production values as in season 1. They still use the yellow hues for the 1970s and they didn’t botch up the fashion of the 1990s. The actors play a younger version of themselves in the 1990’s flashback and they manage to make it look believable. ..

The show is well-done and hits the soapy notes just right. There is drama, mystery and even a sense of nostalgia.

The final season of “Game of Thrones” is still up in the air. Some fans are hopeful that the show will end on a high note, while others are worried that it might not be able to keep up with the high standards set by its predecessor. Part 2 of the show has only seven episodes, but it seems like some questions may not be answered. If part 1 is any indication, there may be some major plot points left unresolved. Hopefully, part 2 will give us a better idea of what happened in between episodes 9 and 10.
