The song is about a love that is broken, and the guitar work and vocal work are perfect in keeping with that. The lyrics are about how the love is gone, and how the musician can’t help but feel broken by it.
The song seems more upbeat than previous songs, although the lyrics are still laden with harsh viewpoints. The beat arrests, and the chorus bursts with intensity. It’s another sad song, complete in its execution.
