West Sky 2

Sang-Su reports to Ryung-Gu’s department, where he is out of the team for now and working with sales.

Jun-Woong is conflicted about whether or not to tell Ryung-Gu about Yu-Hwa’s suicide. ..

The woman’s level of stress has been going up and down, influenced by her recent loss of her baby. She is working part-time but it is making her difficult to keep up with the demands of customers.

Yu-Hwa’s mood has been deteriorating recently, and it’s likely because of the tragedy that occurred when her “honeybee” died. It’s heartbreaking to watch her deteriorate in front of us, blaming herself for what happened.

The King of Heaven is in the department store too, and she sends out a whole bunch of clothes to an orphanage anonymously and tasks Jun-Woong with delivering it.

Yu-Hwa’s dreams are the reason her levels are reducing. She’s dreaming of looking after her child. Jun-Woong and Ryeon try to figure out how to help Yu-Hwa stabilize her levels. Part of this is from Yu-hwa’s dreams, which are the reason why the levels are dropping in the first place. ..

Ryeon wakes up and realizes that she is caring for Honeybee in her dream. She tries to talk her around, but Honeybee is uninterested. Jun-Woong is unsure what else to do so he rings Ryung-Gu and asks him for help.

Yu-Hwa wakes up to find that her dream partner, Yu-hwa, has also been resurrected. The two argue about the best way to handle this, but as they mention it being a dream, Yu-Hwa overhears and is shocked by this revelation.

Ryung-Gu tells her that love is the most important thing in life and that she should never give up on it. He shares his own experiences of being in love and how it has helped him through some of the toughest times. Ryung-Gu urges her to keep looking for love, no matter what happens in this life.

He admits that he will never understand the love parents can have for their children, but urges them to live. He believes that the only way to truly understand love is to experience it firsthand.

Yu-Hwa is stabilizing, but another inappropriate joke is thrown at us in the form of Jun-Woong. He rushes to the hospital and tries to throw his arms around Ryung-Gu but he’s stopped. ..

Yu-Hwa starts to heal with her partner, Ryung-Gu, and begins to remember all of her old memories. Ryung-Gu appears on the beach and snaps his fingers, allowing all of Yu-Hwa’s old memories to flood back.

This happens when Ryung-Gu tells her what he’s wanted to say all these years, apologizing for what happened between them in the past.

Ryung-Gu, the man who tied the “threads of fate” for a woman so she could see her child again in the next life, admitted that her memories will disappear very soon but for now, he’s thankful for the chance to speak his piece to her. ..

After this, the King of Heaven admits that they will need to keep an eye on Yu-Hwa, as it could take many regenerations before she is better and the pain stops. ..

Joong-Gil, a young man, hears this and questions his own memories. He tries to access the archives of his own memories but he’s unable to do so, given it’s locked. Only the Director can open it.

Honeybee looks at the message and feels a sense of relief. She knows that they are with her and that they are happy.

The Episode Review

Tomorrow continues to tease the past issues involving Joong-Gil and Ryeon which I’m sure we’ll find out more about over the remaining few episodes.

Ryung-Gu’s story concludes with her mother’s suicidal attempt.

There is a lot of emotional anguish between the characters in this film, although that bizarre inclusion of Jun-Woong’s joke at the hospital almost feels like it ruins the mood. ..

Despite that, “Tomorrow” delivers a really solid episode all the same, leaving the door wide open for next week’s follow-up. ..
