Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist Episode 5
This medical drama is set during the Joseon Period, and follows Yoo Se Poong. He’s a talented physician who practices at the royal palace. However, when he’s implicated in a conspiracy that threatens the royal family, he’s driven out of court. Eventually, he finds himself in a remote village community; a massive fall from grace for someone so prestigious.
The three main characters in this story are Poong, Gye Ji-Han, and Seo Eun-Woo. Poong helps heal a local and as a result, stays in the village for a prolonged period of time. He attracts the attention of Gye Ji-Han, a middle0aged local doctor, and takes the young physician under his wing. Rounding out the trio is Seo Eun-Woo, a young widow. What will become of this trio? We’ll have to wait and find out.
The next episode of “K-drama: My Love from the Bottom” will be released on October 15th.
