Maddie is a young woman who begins receiving messages from an unknown number claiming to be her deceased father, David. When Maddie dives deeper into this, she soon realizes that this conspiracy goes much deeper than she could ever have imagined. The messages are from people who claim to be in contact with David’s ghost, and they are asking Maddie to help them find information about his death. Maddie is hesitant at first, but after getting more information from the people who are sending her these messages, she decides to take on this challenge. She is determined to find out what happened to her father and learn the truth about his death.
