Kinnporsche Lost
Kinn and his men are out looking for him, but they haven’t found him yet. Kinn’s GPS is in the back of the lorry, and his men are looking for him all over the place.
Porsche and Kinn are lost and unsure of where to go. They argue over the right direction to take, but in the end, Porsche wins by using his rock, paper, scissors skills to determine which way they should go. This time, it turns out that Kinn is the one who leads them to the same spot.
After a bit of arguing and failing to break their cuffs, the pair find some fresh water to quench their thirst. That’s probably just as well because as they leave the forest, the pair end up walking up the dusty, dry, choked road. ..
The sun sets as the pair find an abandoned truck to spend the night in. With the sun bleaching the sky pink, they are happy with their progress. However, the night soon wears on and they are forced to make a fire together. ..
After fishing, the pair end up kissing in a small waterfall. It’s a really beautiful moment because it’s the first time they’ve kissed while sober.
Porsche and Kinn discuss their dreams and how they plan to achieve them. Porsche tells Kinn that he wants to open up his own bar, while Kinn has a dream of becoming a singer. Porsche encourages both of them to sing, and despite their initial reservations, they tell each other that they could be stars if they only had to take over from Mr Korn.
The two hikers were out looking for help when they ran into another roadblock. This time, they tried to jump over a large crevasse but instead, tumbled down to the bottom. They were both okay though and not too badly injured, but their survival situation had just got a whole lot worse. Let’s hope a boulder doesn’t fall and trap one of their arms (cheeky 127 hours reference there!) ..
Kinn admits that he has no responsibilities in this situation and actually quite likes it. It means he can be himself without the pressures and expectations of his family hanging over him. He also apologizes for what happened between them in the past, including that unpleasant slap and holding him by the throat against the wall. ..
Porsche is surprised to hear that Kinn has something they need and eventually reveals that it’s the key to the handcuffs. They enjoy their time together and clearly didn’t want to admit this too soon because they wanted them to stay close.
As they make their way back into the open, Kinn tells Porsche to leave. After hearing his dream about opening up a bar and being with his brother, Kinn urges him to get away. Porsche hugs and kisses Kinn before scampering out into the wilderness.
Kinn is approached by several gunmen, but he manages to get away and jump into a Porsche. Unfortunately, one of the gunmen shoots at Porsche and Kinn takes the bullet. He’s then in a race against time to live or die.
The Episode Review
Kinn and Porsche are finally able to relax and just be themselves, without all the drama. This is a nice episode that takes a step back from the high-stakes action.
The episode also allows for Kinn and Porsche to grow closer together and share their first kiss. Kinn and Porsche are both sober this time around, so proper kiss anyway!
While some may find the build-up slow, I thought it was necessary after so many episodes of buildup. This allows both Kinn and Porsche to re-align their priorities before getting back down to business.
The ending of the episode left things wide open for next week, with the preview showing that Kinn is okay and has recovered from his wound so that’s a nice little spoiler to have!
