Our Thoughts:
This week, we have two dramas airing their final episodes. The first is “Descendants of the Sun” which is coming to an end after its final episode airs on May 25th. This drama has been a hit with viewers and has been praised for its beautiful cinematography and well-written scripts. The second drama airing its final episode this week is “The King 2 Hearts” which aired its last episode on May 11th. This drama has also been a hit with viewers, with many praising the acting and story line. ..
Despite the new shows starting, there are still some old shows that are still airing. One show is Cleaning Up, which is debuting on JTBC. Another show is Eve, which is only starting on TV Taiwan. There’s also a new show called Cleaning Up that could be a real diamond in the rough.
Our Blues continues to rock its anthological format, with the different characters all staring to work together now, which is nice to see. In fact, Sunday’s episode jumped to 12.5% on the ratings, which is great news for fans of this series.
In all, though, May has been a very good month for K-Drama, with My Liberation Notes closing out nicely. Will June be able to top this? We’ll have to wait to find out!
