Renewed Or Cancelled?
In the first episode, we meet our main characters: a young woman, Yolande, who is working as a maid in a small town in the south of France; and her older brother, Jean-Claude. Yolande is trying to figure out what happened to her mother 30 years ago and why her brother has never been able to find her. In the second episode, we follow two timelines: one where Yolande is working in France and the other where she’s living in Belgium. The timeline switch causes some interesting complications for Yolande and Jean-Claude. Both timelines are important to the story, but it’s the timeline switch that really makes the difference. The events of one timeline are completely overshadowed by events in another timeline, which makes for an interesting plot development.
We know that a renewal is in the works for this one!
What is Two Summers about?

An unknown number threatens to release a video of an incident if a payment is not made in Bitcoin. Peter, one of the culprits from the incident, receives the blackmailed message. ..
Romee and Peter are hosting a party on the same island from before, on a secluded, sun-soaked vista off the French Azure coast. ..
As Peter recruits his motley gang of “trustworthy” men in on his blackmailed secret, he tries to learn who’s blackmailing them.
Two Summers is a new show on the network that premieres tonight. The show is about two people who are in love and have to figure out how to make it work in a world where they’re not sure if they can keep their relationship going.
Has Two Summers been renewed for season 2?
Two Summers was not renewed for a second season. Given the ending, that’s perhaps not surprising. ..
Netflix typically gauges numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate per episode. With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly (ala. Squid Game, Bridgerton & Irregulars). Other times, it can take months before Netflix make a decision over a show’s future. ..
Critics have been largely negative, finding the film’s humor and plot unconvincing. Audiences, on the other hand, seem to have enjoyed it more than most. The ending is also pretty conclusive. ..
Based on the ending and reception of Two Summers, we are predicting that the show will not be renewed for a second season. This is due to the original series airing on terrestrial TV before Netflix snapped up the rights.
We’ll be sure to update this section with more details as they become available.
What we know about season 2 so far:
Netflix has not green-lit a sequel to season 2 of “House of Cards.” This is likely due to the high ratings and critical acclaim that season 1 received.
Netflix has renewed its contract with the show “House of Cards” for a third season. However, there are a few different ways this could go. The women could change their minds, with Sofie wanting to press charges after all. We could see another murder, with a jealous Luk taking out Peter (despite seemingly making up in the final scenes of the season.) There could also be more secrets from the past yet to be uncovered too.
We are currently assuming that there will not be a season 2, but we will keep this page updated as more information becomes available.
