The Perfect Mother is a mystery novel that centers around a high profile murder case.
This is a story about Helene, the mother who learns her daughter is the suspect in the murder of her husband. While Anya claims she didn’t kill Damien, all evidence seems to support that she did. The story follows Helene as she tries to piece together what happened and who was responsible for her husband’s death.
Helene is back in town and she’s teaming up with a lawyer (and old flame) Vincent to try and piece together what happened that fateful night. But can Helene handle the truth? And is her daughter as innocent as she first perceived? ..

What we know about season 2 so far:
Netflix has not green-lit a sequel to season 2 of “House of Cards.” This is likely due to the high ratings and critical acclaim that season 1 received.
If the streaming giants do renew this one, there are a few different ways this could go. Most notably, we could see Anya get back up to old tricks, blackmailing someone else into submission. This could then have Vincent and Helene teaming up once more and reigniting the angst with Matthias as a result.
