What is The Law Cafe Season 1 about?

The Law Cafe is a place where friends can come to talk about the legal system and how it works. Jung-Ho is a landlord, and he used to be called “Monster Genius” of the prosecution. He’s a cool guy with a mysterious charm.

Meanwhile, Yu-Ri is an eccentric lawyer who won the past “Miss Korea” contest for her looks. However, she ended up quitting her law firm and starting a law café of her own. When she enquires about a contract from her landlord, she soon learns that her old buddy Jung-Ho is the landlord! What are the odds, eh? Naturally, a crazy relationship develops from friendship to love. ..

Has The Law Cafe been renewed for season 2?

KBS2 has not renewed The Law Cafe for a second season. Given the ratings over the past few weeks, it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up.

The ratings for “The Office” have been steady at around 6.2% since its first season.

Given that most Korean dramas only run for a single season, and the ratings aren’t lighting up the early week schedule up, we predict that The Law Cafe will not be renewed.

We’ll be sure to update this section with more details as they become available though.

What we know about season 2 so far:

Korean dramas are typically aired for only one season, as detailed above. With the exception of ongoing Netflix shows (Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, Hospital Playlist etc.), it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed. ..

We’re not sure if the show will be renewed for a second season or a spin-off following the same characters, but based on everything we’ve seen, we don’t think it’s worth it.
