After season 2 ended, many fans were left wondering if the show would be renewed for a third season. However, according to a recent article by The Hollywood Reporter, the network has decided not to renew the show. This decision may be due to the high ratings of season 2 and the fact that there are other projects that are more important at the moment.
What is The Flight Attendant Season 2 about?
After the events of season one, Cassie Bowden moves to Los Angeles and continues her journey to rediscover herself as a person and professionally. But trouble once again follows her as Will, her mark (assignment) dies mysteriously in a big blast in Germany.
Cassie is left to fend authorities from blaming her for murders committed henceforth, seemingly at her behest by a blonde impersonator she saw in Germany and at the scene of the crime.
Megan Briscoe, Cassie’s best friend from season one, returns to the US after staying in Finland as a traitor of the country. ..
For Cassie, the task is even more difficult as she also has to settle the ghosts of her past and confront her treacherous relationship with her mother. The big question in the season is as to how or if at all, Cassie will be able to find the calmness to reinvent herself.
In the latest episode of The Flight Attendant, a group of passengers are stranded on an airplane after a technical issue. To make matters worse, the plane is on fire. As the passengers try to escape, they are met with obstacles and danger from all sides. Some manage to make it out alive, while others perish in the fire. Despite the challenges, these passengers have one thing in common: They are all flight attendants. And they are all working hard to get their passengers off the plane and back home safe. This season, The Flight Attendant has seen some new faces and some returning players. We’re excited to see what happens next as these attendants work together to get their passengers back on their way.
Has The Flight Attendant been renewed for Season 3?
The Flight Attendant has not renewed for season three.
Despite the great ratings season two has received, many question marks remain over the possibility of another season because of the ending of season two. For those who need a recap, this ends with everything perfectly in place and Cassie finally being free from any encumbrances or trouble.
There are no new avenues to explore like we saw Cassie being roped in as a CIA asset at the end of season one. Max and Annie’s wedding is the last thing we see on screen before it goes black. Given its success and plethora of opportunities though, we predict that The Flight Attendant will be renewed by HBO for season three.

HBO executives are still undecided as to what they will do with the show. There are rumors that have not been confirmed by the creators or stars of the show that a meeting between them is imminent. A final decision will come probably after that, although I suspect that the good ratings, viewership, and critical reviews will make sure we get a season three.
