Our Blues is a weekend K-drama that takes a similar stance to Hometown Cha Cha Cha. Our destination is Jeju Island, where a whole bunch of inhabitants engage in romance and drama.
The 20 episode k-drama “This is My Life” has been an intriguing watch over the weeks, but if you’ve been following this you may be wondering if this one’s been renewed or cancelled.
What is Our Blues Season 1 about?
Jeju Island is a popular tourist destination in South Korea. It is known for its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere. The series follows the lives of people who live on the island and are interconnected through their relationships. ..
Lee Dong-Seok, a small-town vendor from an island off the coast of South Korea, has a deep history with Seon-A (Shin Min-A), who he mistakenly thought was his girlfriend. Over time, they develop a strong friendship and eventually fall in love with each other. ..
Choi Han-Su returns to his hometown after moving away for some time. He meets his first love Jung Eun-Hui, who runs a fishing store on the island. Her friend Go Mi-Ran has also come back to island, fed up with the city life.
Han-Ji Min, a female diver, has recently moved to Jeju Island and is quickly drawn to ship captain Park Jeong-Jun. The two quickly fall in love with each other and Han-Ji Min begins to explore her new home. ..

Has Our Blues been renewed for season 2?
TVN has not renewed Our Blue for a second season. Given the respectable ratings over the past week, it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up.
The ratings for “The Good Place” have been increasing every week since its debut. Episode 10 managed to achieve a 11.2% rating, which is pretty impressive.
Based on the fact that this show is set up to be more episodic than a singular story, it’s possible that Our Blues may be renewed. However, given most k-dramas wrap up their stories in a single season and with the exception of Yumi’s Cells and Tale of the Nine Tailed, it’s very rare to find these sort of shows renewed. Based on that, we predict Our Blues will not be renewed.

Korean dramas are typically aired for only one season, and it’s rare for ongoing Netflix shows to be renewed. ..
Despite the potential for a follow-up or spin-off, it’s still possible that the actors will not return for a second season. This is because the nature of this series is such that there is always a chance that one or two couples will be featured instead. We’ll have to wait and see if this one is greenlit or not.
