Renewed Or Cancelled?
Disney+ is a new streaming service that offers a variety of content from the Walt Disney Company, including movies, TV shows, and games. Obi-Wan Kenobi is one of the newest additions to this line-up, and his story is sure to keep you entertained for hours on end.
Disney has renewed the series for a 6th season.
What is Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 1 about?
Obi-Wan Kenobi, a Jedi Master who has been living on the Outer Rim world of Tatooine for years, is discovered by Luke Skywalker, a young Jedi who has recently returned to the galaxy after being trained by Yoda. Obi-Wan helps Luke to evade the Empire’s elite Jedi hunters, called the Inquisitors. They eventually find refuge on Tatooine where Obi-Wan tries to keep his cover and protect Luke from the Empire while also training him. ..

Has Obi-Wan Kenobi been renewed for season 2?
Disney+ has not renewed Obi-Wan Kenobi for a follow-up season. Given the incredible popularity of this one over the weeks, it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up.
Disney released a statement regarding Obi-Wan on social media: “Thank you to the best fans in the galaxy for making @ObiWanKenobi the most-watched #DisneyPlus Original series premiere globally to date, based on hours streamed in an opening weekend.”
It seems that people are enjoying the series, looking back to a different era where there was less subjective quality in the New Trilogy. However, it will be interesting to see how many people drop off this show after recent negativity surrounding aspects of its production. ..
Weighing all of this up, there is a good amount of evidence supporting Obi-Wan Kenobi to be renewed for season 2. With that in mind, we predict that Obi-Wan Kenobi will be renewed.
Disney is said to be in the process of producing a follow-up season to the successful first three episodes of Obi-Wan. This hasn’t been confirmed yet, but we’ll be sure to update this section with more details as they become available.
What we know about season 2 so far:
Disney+ has not green-lit a sequel to season 2 of “The Lion King”. This leaves fans of the show with little to no information about what is going on.
Disney has a huge expansive library of stories (many of which in a huge library of fiction that Disney has retconned) and the possibility of a follow-up or spin-off is always there.
We are currently assuming that a season 2 will happen, but we will keep this page updated when more information becomes available.
