Renewed Or Cancelled?
Netflix’s newest series, Model Family, is a thriller with 10 easily-bingeable episodes and some deliciously shocking twists along the way. The series is set in a small town in upstate New York and follows the lives of a model family. The family is made up of four adults, two children, and one dog. The show has been praised for its well-written characters and its dark humor.
We are not sure if this show has been renewed or cancelled.
What is A Model Family Season 1 about?
The Model Family is a story about a hardworking family that falls apart because of money troubles. Park Dong-Ha tries his best to do what is best for his family and ends up getting into trouble because of it.
Dong-Ha is desperate for money and strikes lucky on his way home from work, noticing two bags of money in the back of a car. The two men inside are dead. After taking the money and burying the bodies in his own back garden, Dong-Ha unwittingly tumbles head-first into the seedy underbelly of crime, and in particular the Sangseon and Yongsoo Drug Rings.
Kwang-Chul, the second-in-command for this drug ring, starts to investigate, leading him to Dong-Ha’s back garden. Only, it also brings officer Joo-Hyun there too. Will Dong-Ha come out of this on top?

Has A Model Family been renewed for season 2?
Netflix has not renewed A Model Family for a follow-up season. Given the ratings and viewership figures, it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up.
Netflix has a good track record renewing their original K-Dramas, with Kingdom, All Of Us Are Dead and Squid Game all receiving second season orders. This is one of the more consistent areas of Netflix’s model and A Model Family lends itself nicely to the same treatment. Based on this, we predict that A Model Family will be renewed.

What we know about season 2 so far:
Netflix has renewed the Korean drama series “Love” for a second season. However, little is known about the upcoming season. Most likely, it will be a shortened version of the first one.
Netflix has announced that it is creating a Korean-themed series called “Ozark.” The show is set in the small town of Ozark, Missouri, and will follow the lives of its residents.
We believe this will be a renewed story, with Kwang-Chul and Dong-Ha diving deeper into this seedy world. With that in mind, we believe this will be a compelling story to follow.
