The Episode Review
The finale of “Summertime” was predictable and lacked the excitement that the season had promised. The storylines were all too familiar, with contrived drama used to pad out the runtime. ..
Netflix has allowed this show to have a decent conclusion, although one can’t help but feel this was a completely unnecessary season. A lot of the drama here has been orchestrated from the start, with little in the way of surprising twists and turns.
The ending of Summertime does provide closure to all the characters we’ve followed over the course of the show though, so in that respect it’s a good thing. However, Summertime has not been a show to remember.

Summertime Season 3 ended with a bang, as the show’s main characters finally faced off against their arch-enemy, Summer. However, many viewers were left wondering what the show could have done to make the ending more satisfying. In this article, we will explore why Summertime Season 3’s ending was so unsatisfying and how you can make sure your next TV series ends on a high note.
- The Ending Was Unsatisfying because It Was Too Easy The main problem with the Summertime Season 3 finale was that it was too easy for the characters to overcome their opponents. In fact, most of the conflict in the finale came from characters who had been defeated before. This made it difficult for viewers to invest in the story and feel like they were part of it.
- The Ending Was Unsatisfying Because It Was Too Much Like Previous Seasons Summertime Season 3 also felt like it was too much of a copycat of previous seasons. For example, many of the plot points from previous seasons were reused in order to wrap up everything quickly. This made it difficult for viewers to follow what was happening and felt like a waste of time.
