The Wooga Squad is a group of friends who formed together in 2016 on the show Hwarang. Park Seo-joon, Park Hyung-sik, and Kim Taehyung all worked together on the show K-drama Shut Up Family and then went to the same high school. But if we hang around, we may hear a bit more of the detail on what sealed their little family and keeps them making the effort to group up.
In the Soop: Friendcation Friends
The unwitting friends of the group-presumed role of Unwitting Friendcationers are people who just don’t understand how social media works. They think that because they’re friends with everyone in the group, they must be cool and intelligent. But this is not always the case. Sometimes, the friends of the Unwitting Friendcationers just don’t understand how social media works and think that they’re being funny or clever when they’re really just being mean to others.
Park Seo-joon (Captain Marvel 2: The Marvels, Itaewon Class) – the father and emotional anchor Park Hyung-sik (Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Suits, Juror 8) – the kind mom, a little softer than dad Choi Woo-shik (Parasite, Our Beloved Summer, Time to Hunt) – the trustworthy older son, leader of the kids Kwon Sung-hwan (rapper/singer/producer Peakboy known for Gin&Tonic and last summer’s Gyopo Hairstyle) – the wild youngest daughter, always pumped up Kim Taehyung (BTS’ V, and also appeared in Hwarang, BTS In The Soop) – the cute & mischievous youngest sibling
Where Can I Watch?
Disney+ has not released an official statement about the continuation of the In the Soop series. The show will continue to air on South Korean cable network JTBC at 9pm KST, and available on the local Disney+ channel at 11pm KST thereafter for three more episodes. Initially, it will run in Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore. However, it is unknown when a global release date for the show will come. As with previous In the Soop series episodes, YouTube seems like a good bet if Disney+ does not capitalise quickly.
Where Can I Watch Outside of Select Asian Markets?
Disney+ just announced a global partnership with HYBE which includes this mini-series and several other BTS-related programmes.

Is There an OST?
There seems to be a new song out there that you can clearly hear and it seems like Peakboy had a hand in the production. I hope that a full-sized OST version will be released as it’s a pleasant tune.
What happened in Episode 3?
The conversations in this article are about the pressures of being a celebrity in Korea, and how friends help each other through it. They talk about their lives, their careers, and how they support each other. They share advice and comfort.
The K-pop and Kdrama industry is constantly evolving, with new trends and fads emerging all the time. Among these clips are glimpses of friends joking around and sharing personal moments, which gives us a unique look at their relationships and how they’ve evolved over time. I suspect that some of these moments will stay with us long after the shows have ended. ..

Who’s the most surprising as an ‘off-screen’ view?
In Ep 3, it’s Woo-shik who guides the conversation on several occasions, spotting opportunities for honest disclosure and closeness. He gently gets everyone there by sharing, commenting and asking questions like a master.
As the guys continue to discuss more serious topics, Seo-joon starts to speak up more. Some of it comes from the other guys noting inspiring things Seo-joon has said to them. Pointedly, he’s a sage – at least with other people’s hearts. Alone, he admits he’s in a quandary, not knowing what he wants to do. It doesn’t get more open. ..
Worth the wait?
Taehyung wipes his eyes and nods, “Yeah, I’m crying.” ..
In a quiet little voice, Taehyung admits that he hopes for less sadness in the year to come. Every piece of that conversation is heart-breaking. How he’s not able to say much more; how they all try to console in different ways. How Woo-shik lands exactly what’s happening for all of them in that resonant moment. It’s an emotional bomb and certainly worth the wait if you’re not able to watch it yet.
The funny thing is…
In Episode 1, Seo-joon felt like he was tricked into the trip and seemed to resist sharing his thoughts whilst surrounded by cameras. After today’s drive-time discussion of a potential future trip and Woo-shik’s revelation of his desire to direct and produce one day, it seems that the father himself put together that they should film their next trip. ..
