Sergei’s disappearance leads to some big questions that Lily tries to answer.
The show is a little overlong and the moody atmosphere is a little too heavy for my taste, but the thought-provoking questions and questions about the future are enough to keep me interested until the end. The musical score is absolutely incredible, making it one of my favorite parts of the show.

Counterpart
Similarities – Sci-Fi & Atmosphere
The parallel world in Counterpart is one that’s accessible via a pathway guarded by government authorities. This creates a unique and interesting setting for the sci-fi genre, and makes it an interesting choice for a story.
At the heart of this story is Howard Silk, who unwittingly finds himself entangled in a big cover up and face to face with his doppelganger from a parallel reality.
The trouble is brewing. Howard and his double are swapping places, and they’re having to grapple with a plot line involving powerful forces intent on disrupting the natural flow of both worlds.
This is a smartly written thriller that does well to add a slightly different flavour to its parallel worlds idea.

Tales From The Loop is a visually stunning show that feels convincingly realistic. However, it can be a bit polarizing due to its many different elements. If you’re interested in the show after watching its first few episodes, you should find something to like here.

The Outsider is a much better show if watched as a straight-forward binge, rather than being drip-fed over several weeks. The basic premise revolves around a group of investigators completely baffled by an unspeakable crime that’s been committed. The characters are beautifully written throughout, and where this one really shines is with its plot, which is exciting and unpredictable. ..
The author has created a well-done thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end.
