Dae-Sung is a timid person who has excellent memory. Despite constantly failing his exam to become a 9th grade public official for 3 years, he remains defiant, constantly revising to try and pass.
Dae-Sung is a part-time employee at MS Mart in the outskirts of Seoul. His mother, Myung-Sook, owns the store. His girlfriend, A-Hee, works as a police officer.
The story opens with a mysterious murder case that takes place near an apartment building. MS Mart is close to the scene, and the police are investigating. The story follows the detectives as they try to figure out who did this and why.
Dae-sung joins Myung-Sook in her investigation, and the only clue they have is a receipt from MS Mart. ..
