The third season of Seth McFarlane’s space comedy series, U.S.S. Orville, is set to air on Netflix this fall and if you have enjoyed the previous adventures of the crew of the U.S.S. Orville, you will be glad to know that this new season is just as funny and exciting as the previous two. We don’t know a lot about this latest series but we can expect plenty of laughs as well as some serious relationship drama as Captain Ed Mercer (McFarlane) and his starship crew explore the mysteries of the universe together.

The movie adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic novel, “Pride and Prejudice,” is currently enjoying a very high Metascore. The movie is set in the 1800s and follows the story of Jane Austen’s love for Mr. Bennet and his daughter, Elizabeth. The movie has been praised for its accurate portrayal of the period and its unique plot.
Hollywood Stargirl (2022)
Stargirl Caraway set out to change the world with her music and love of others in 2020’s movie, Stargirl. In this follow-up, she travels outside of her home state and head to Los Angeles to work on a movie set. While there, she meets new people and makes some great connections while trying to bring kindness to the world.
In the original movie, we imagine that the protagonist will change more lives as she embarks on her journey. However, if you didn’t enjoy the tweeness of the original movie, your life might be unaffected by this follow-up.

Kamila Khan is a 16-year-old Pakistani-American who grew up in Jersey City and has a special affinity for superheroes. She gets to become one when she joins the Marvel Comics series, Ms. Marvel, which was given similar recognition and early word suggests it might be something special.
Family Reboot: Season 1
This new documentary series is set to explore the relationships between family members who have grown apart over time. The series will allow viewers to get to know one another without the distractions of technology. There is no word yet on whether or not this show is any good, but at the very least, it should give us all cause to consider our own social media and phone addictions.

The Binge (2020)
On ‘Binge Day,’ people are allowed to indulge in whatever they want, without fear of punishment. This is a comedic take on The Purge and while it didn’t garner many positive reviews, I thought it was quite an enjoyable movie. Skyler Gisondo (The Righteous Gemstones) and Eduardo Franco (Stranger Things) are among the younger members of the cast and Vince Vaughan also stars as their despairing School Principal.

Love Victor: Season 3
In the third season of critically acclaimed show “The Crown”, Victor has to make a decision between Benji and Rahim. Benji is more popular with the girls, but Rahim seems to be the one who Victor really likes. It looks like there may be a new boy in town that Victor has caught his eye, so it will be interesting to see what he does. Hopefully, he partners up with the right person in this final season.

They are best friends and have a lot in common, but their lives take a turn for the worse when one of them has an encounter with someone they shouldn’t have. Doctor Strange is a visually stunning superhero movie that will have you on the edge of your seat the entire time. If you can buy into the often weird things that happen on screen, you will have a great time. The good doctor isn’t alone as he is joined by Wanda Maximoff and some familiar faces from comic book movies past. To say any more would be saying too much!

Trevor: the Musical (2022)
This is a filmed version of the off-Broadway stage production “Trevor: the Musical,” which itself is based on a short film about a 13-year old boy called Trevor who is trying to come to terms with his sexuality. The film also inspired The Trevor Project, an organisation set up to support LGBT young people so it has certainly had a very wide impact. The musical has been described as “deeply moving and funny” by one Broadway critic so this promises to be an enjoyable if sometimes heartbreaking watch.

Only Murders In The Building: Season 2
In the first season of “Charles & Oliver”, Charles and Oliver try to clear their name from the murder they were accused of committing. The show was both surprising and funny, with a twist at the end that nobody really saw coming. In this season, the trio have to clear their name, fend off the neighbours who think they are murderers, and deal with a competing podcast. The season sounds like fun so here’s hoping it’s as good as the original run of episodes.

The final episode of Big Sky Season 2 aired on Wednesday night, and it was a doozy. The stakes were high as the contestants battled for immunity and a chance to stay in the game. In the end, only one player remained: Tyler Anderson. The episode began with Tyler receiving an unexpected visit from his father, who informed him that he had been voted off of the island. This was a tough blow for Tyler, who had been relying on his father’s support to stay in the game. Later that night, Tyler faced off against Adam Klein in a tense Immunity Challenge. The two players fought hard until Adam emerged victorious. This left Tyler with little choice but to vote himself off of the island. Overall, this was an exciting finale to Big Sky Season 2.
