Cleaning Up Episode 4

Taking over from My Liberation Notes, Cleaning Up is the latest K-drama to occupy that time-slot, working as a remake of the UK series of the same name. The show is set in a small town in South Korea and follows the lives of its residents as they go about their everyday lives.

The cleaning ladies at a brokerage company are the main characters in this story. They all work at the company and are all trying to make ends meet. They all have different goals and dreams, but they all share one common goal: to make enough money to buy food for their families.

In Yong-Mi’s case, her two daughters and her husband are all she has. She struggles to make a living, and in order to provide for her family, she has to work multiple jobs. Maeng Soo-Ja, on the other hand, is a sociable person who dreams of starting her own food truck. However, she has her own issues that prevent her from doing so.

The three women decide to invest their money in stock after hearing about insider trading and deciding that it was a bad idea. They hope to create a new destiny for themselves by investing their money in the stock market.
