Episode Guide

A mystery surrounds Mile Marker Something in the Sky, as a body is found in a bag at the site. Death also strikes in a Vegas motel, as a resident is found dead. Paranormal Rangers are called to investigate the scene. What happened to Josh? remains unknown, as his body was found in an apartment complex 14 miles from where he was last seen alive. ..

Netflix’s new series, “The Crown,” is based on the story of the murder of Princess Diana. The show is set in the early 1990s and follows the case of her death, as well as her husband Prince Charles’s role in it. The show has been met with mixed reactions from viewers, with some enjoying the re-enactments and interviews used in the series while others found them to be too cheesy and forgettable. Regardless, “The Crown” is a gripping series that is sure to keep you entertained for its entire 15-episode run.

The second volume of the series seemed to go off the rails a bit, with mysteries that weren’t really all that mysterious and more geared toward digging up old cold case files and padding out the run-time with a lot of family history. ..

The third volume of Unsolved Mysteries is full of strange sightings, suicides and more. It’s a mix of the good, the bad and the ugly, and it does a great job of bringing back that variety.

Netflix’s decision to release 3 episodes each week instead of all at once could work in the show’s favour. This series is known for its “water cooler” chats, and by releasing each episode over a period of weeks, it will give viewers a better understanding of the cases.

The second case involved a young woman named Tiffany Valiante who committed suicide after a long and difficult relationship with her ex-boyfriend. The case is more complicated than the first, and I was about to chalk it up to the same until halfway through, when revealing details are dropped like nukes and change the entire complexion of the case. Not all are like this though, in truth, and others are much more straightforward in nature.

The true crime anthology series “Murder on the Orient Express” features three stories that intertwine with paranormal activity. The show is well-made and mixes different genres to create a unique experience. You can tell a lot of thought has been put into the episode order to try and maximize the amount you’re likely to watch – and bring back that much needed variety.

The novel is set in the fictional town of West Egg on Long Island, and follows the case of a missing girl, Alice, who has been missing for over a year. The novel is written in first-person point of view, and it follows the detectives who are working on the case as they try to find out what happened to Alice.

The show still struggles with its pacing and, in particular, some of the more linear mysteries have an awful lot of padding to them. There’s a good deal of family history and background to each of these cases and while that’s great for some chapters, for others it feels a bit like overkill.

Despite the fact that Unsolved Mysteries returns to form with its third volume, it still manages to deliver a mix of creepy and spine-chilling cases that are perfect fodder for watching through this Halloween season.
