Although Peco and Smile’s coach offers to train Smile to overcome his hesitation, he is reluctant to play the sport if he can’t seek enjoyment from it. In an inter-high tournament where only the very top players can persevere, Peco and Smile struggle to find meaning in the sport. ..

Akira is a movie that has had a significant impact on many people in the entertainment industry. While some may argue its source material is better than its film, many adore the movie for its amazing visuals and fluid animation. Likewise, Mob Psycho 100 and Akira are not too different from each other.

Both anime feature esper-themed characters fighting off numerous enemies that pose a threat to them or others. While Mob’s more heroic than Akira’s Tetsuo, these characters tend to snap, causing many people around them to suffer for their uncontrollable antics.
