The idea behind this movie is simple: you have a group of people who are being held captive and you must find out what happened to them. The movie does a great job of delivering on that promise, with Willis’s performance as the lead character being the star of the show. The twists and turns that the movie takes are also well done, making for an enjoyable experience.
Predestination
Predestination is a time loop movie that manages to keep you guessing right up until the very end. In fact, Predestination is pretty clever with its twists, keeping its cards close to its chest until the film’s conclusion.
The temporal agent is sent on a series of time-travel journeys designed to ensue the continuation of his own career for all eternity. Now onto his final assignment, this agent is tasked with pursuing the one criminal that’s eluded him through time.
This excellent movie is worth watching for its time-bending elements. If you’re looking for a good time-bending hit, this one is definitely worth a watch.
Triangle
The triangle is a clever film. It’s a movie that takes a simple mystery and folds it into an origami-shaped brain-twisting puzzle. The story works on several levels, and definitely benefits from repeat watches too.
Jess is a young girl who goes on a yacht with her friends. She starts to feel something is wrong and the yacht gets into a storm. They end up on a passing ocean liner and Jess starts to feel like she’s been on this ship before. ..
With someone seemingly hunting them down, it’s up to Jess and the others to figure out what’s happening before it’s too late.
Triangle is a well-written, full of some great reveals and incredibly tense time loop movie you should check out. ..
Memento
Memento is a story that plays out in reverse. This isn’t just a gimmick though, and instead the movie works beautifully by playing on this concept time and again. The story revolves around Leonard Shelby (Guy Pearce), who has anterograde amnesia, which means that he can’t remember anything from before the age of 25. He is able to piece together his life by watching old tapes and photos, but when he is attacked and left for dead, he starts to piece together his past. The movie is full of twists and turns, as Leonard tries to figure out who attacked him and why. ..
The protagonist of the piece has a severe case of short term memory loss and as the movie progresses, we shift further backwards through time to uncover exactly what’s going on. With the end already known, it’s left up to us to work out why this incident has occurred.
Memento is a stunning achievement and excellent movie that will keep you guessing until the end. With black and white segments along with colour being used to show time played out in both directions, Memento is an impressive work of art that will leave you wanting more. ..

Coherence is a thriller that is well-written and keeps you engaged the entire way through. It’s a movie that you’ll want to watch multiple times to get the full experience. ..
As the group of friends sit down to dinner, they are plunged into darkness. The only light comes from a house down the road. As they eat their dinner, they discuss how to get out of the darkness. None of them know how to turn on a light switch.
This indie film is a puzzle box labyrinth that plays with the idea of time. We won’t spoil anything more but suffice to say this is a really great indie flick that well worth jumping into blind.
