The movie does get quite trippy and dark in the end, although it definitely satisfies that itch for anyone who’s ventured further afield from the usual tourist spots. ..

McCandless was disillusioned with his life and decided to abandon all of his possessions in order to live in the wilderness. He hitchhiked to Alaska and decided to live in the wilderness.
Chris meets several different people along the way, including Tracy Tatro. To give away too much would be a disservice to this movie, but the journey – even if it’s not entirely truthful at times – is enough to make for an enjoyable ride.
