Kung-Fu Panda

Kung-Fu Panda is a movie that is full of action, humour and memorable characters. It’s still one of the best movies of all time.

The Chinese setting is brilliantly captured and the voice cast is certainly impressive too. However, Jack Black stands out and brings Po to life in the best possible way. It’s hard to imagine another actor pulling off a charismatic and enigmatic panda quite like him. Because of that, Kung Fu Panda is easily one of the best panda movies ever made. ..

Kubo and the Two Strings

Kubo and the Two Strings is a stunning piece of art that combines stop-motion and CGI animation against gorgeously rendered landscapes to help it stand out next to other animated movies of its kind. The story is simple but powerful, and the animation is top-notch. This is an amazing movie that I highly recommend.

Moana

Moana is a beautiful, unique Disney movie that stands out from the rest. The setting is set deep in the heart of Ancient Polynesia with a distinct pacific island vibe that helps it stand out from other Disney movies of its kind. The colourful, vibrant setting lends itself nicely to some gorgeous water effects and an excellent use of color throughout.

Tangled

Disney’s Tangled is a colorful and witty film that does a good job of refreshing the princess formula. ..

Rapunzel is a magical girl who has spent her entire life in a tower. When she runs into a runaway thief called Flint, her life is changed forever.

The movie features some great moments and the visuals are absolutely stunning throughout. In fact, the movie that followed this (Frozen) suffers quite a lot thanks to scaling back on the CGI effects. While Frozen was a great movie, its follow-up, Cinderella, is not as good. The CGI effects have been scaled back significantly and this makes the movie less enjoyable. ..

Frozen

Frozen is a movie that is full of energy and excitement. It’s full of songs that will keep you singing all the way through. The story is also very exciting, and it will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time.

Frozen is a story about love, loss, and the power of family. It’s a story that will make you laugh and cry, and it’s one that will leave you feeling inspired to do more than just sit on your couch and watch TV.

The movie is a hit with kids while likely more polarizing for adults. However, Elsa and Anna’s adventures in Arundel eventually caused Froze to become a cultural phenomenon that refuses to let it go.

Brave is a distinctly Scottish movie set deep in the heart of Scotland, abandoning the mythical landscapes and obvious backdrops of old Disney films. ..

Mulan

The Mulan remake is a watered-down, forgettable movie that doesn’t quite live up to the original.
