This entertaining reboot is as much Hollywood satire as it is a kid’s movie This was supposed to be a good movie. However, there have been a number of live-action/animation hybrids over the years, and very few of them have been watchable. Tom & Jerry: the Movie, Yogi Bear, and Woody Woodpecker are among the worst but we could have added other examples here. I was wrong. The movie is actually pretty good....

The most endearing aspect of Dead to Me was the way in which the former, who did not reveal themselves in a straightforward manner, revealed themselves. Like the story, they too had layers and an entire spectrum of personalities that came out during these two seasons.
